I started my Substack with one goal in mind a year ago, and along the way establishing the habit of writing regularly awoke my muse. I’m continuing with my original plan, but adding creative writing too. Scheduling posts is giving me a framework to make that possible without overwhelm.
This is great! It took me somewhere around a year to really figure out what my optimal cadence is. I love posting once a week on Sundays. I mix of the length and depth of posts and occasionally skip a week... but mostly I think I have found the sweet spot!
That sounds great! I think consistency is such a personal thing. It’s helpful to look at systems and routines that already work for other people, but the important part is being able to examine what actually fits your own life and what doesn’t. That way, you’re building a system that works for you, rather than one that works against you.
This gave me a lot of clarity - thank you!
Glad to hear that Andi! Thank you for your thoughts!
